OMSI 2 is a simulation game that puts players in the driving seat of a large inner city bus. Players are charged with driving a bus on a selection of different routes through the city of Berlin and anyone who has ever longed to visit this charming city on a kind of busman’s holiday will finally get the change to fulfil their dreams.
Getting on Board
There are lots of different controls for players of OMSI 2 to master and while this can be a bit tricky at first, it helps to add to the realism of the game and is likely to draw many simulation fans in. There is plenty of variation to the game such as different weather conditions, times of the day and city routes to help keep the game play feeling fresh, although players are sure to notice several bugs such as passengers standing halfway through closed doors and brick walls.
On the Buses
Anyone who has ever wondered what it would be like to be a bus driver will have the chance to find out by playing OMSI 2. Despite the strong attention to detail in the game, there are some weird touches that could use a little tweaking such as the passengers that appear to levitate as they wait for the bus to arrive and these elements can detract from what would otherwise be a fairly solid simulation game.
